Designing and producing a made to measure metal staircase requires expertise that spans multiple disciplines: structural engineering, artisanal metalworking, knowledge of surface finishes and the ability to manage on-site installation with the same precision applied throughout production. At Metalbril, all of this happens in-house, through an integrated process that starts from 3D modelling and concludes with the installed and AID-certified staircase.
Helical staircases, spiral staircases, suspended staircases and modern interior staircases in brass, iron, stainless steel, aluminium and copper: every type is designed and produced to measure, with premium metal finishes developed on sample and validated before production. Every project is born from a direct exchange with the designer, for private residences, luxury hotels and high-end contract spaces.

Metalbril holds CE Marking in accordance with European standard EN 1090 for the execution of steel and aluminium structures and components. Every metal carpentry element we produce complies with the safety and performance requirements of the European market.
AID Certification — Accredia-accredited body
Our factory production control system (FPC) is certified by AID, an Accredia-accredited body and the only national organisation authorised by the Italian State to issue accreditations. Metalbril’s production processes, from welding to finishing, are monitored and compliant with European quality standards.

Open staircases
Open structure without risers, with cantilevered treads or side stringer. Maximum visual lightness and spatial continuity, in iron, stainless steel or brass with custom finishes.
Cantilevered staircases
Treads anchored directly to the wall with no visible structure. The result is a staircase of great visual impact, with a sculptural lightness that only precisely worked metal can guarantee.
Outdoor staircases
Designed to withstand weathering, in stainless steel or iron with specific protective treatments. The same artisanal care and attention to detail as our interior staircases.
Helical staircases
The most scenic typology. The structure wraps around itself with a formal continuity that transforms the staircase into an autonomous architectural element, capable of defining the identity of the entire space.

How long does production take?
Timelines vary according to the complexity of the project, but we always provide a clear and detailed estimate after technical analysis. Direct control over every phase, from design to delivery, allows us to optimise timelines without sacrificing quality. Thanks to our in-house carpentry and autonomous management of logistics and commissions, every process follows a precise and uninterrupted schedule. We also work on site to coordinate resources and materials, managing assembly directly. The work is delivered finished, in line with the client’s requests and expectations.
What is needed to request a quote?
To start, a technical drawing, even preliminary, or a sketch is enough, together with indications on materials and quantities required. The more details we are given, the more precise and tailored a quote we can offer. From there, we build the most suitable solution for the project together.
Is sampling free of charge?
No, samples are chargeable. Every piece is a unique work, hand-finished like a miniature original. Costs vary according to materials, processes and production times, because every test is a genuine bespoke creation.
Can I request a custom finish?
Absolutely yes. Our finishes are never standard: every surface is treated with refined techniques and a unique artistic touch.
