Cleaning and polishing. The surface that reflects quality
Metal cleaning and polishing are the processes that bring every surface to its maximum visual potential. Cleaning removes oxidations, imperfections and processing marks, preparing the metal for the final finish. Metal polishing works on the surface grain with progressive passes, until achieving the degree of brilliance required by the project. The finishes we produce range from satin, soft and anti-reflective, to full gloss, through to clouded, a finish that creates tonal variations on the surface giving the metal a vibrant and materic effect that is difficult to replicate. Metal brightening and electropolishing complete the repertoire for projects requiring maximum reflection and surface purity. These processes apply to stainless steel, brass, aluminium, copper and iron, with results calibrated to the needs of every individual project.
Painting. Protection and character on every surface
Metal painting at Metalbril is not a standard solution, it is a design choice. The protective transparent version is the most widely used because it preserves the natural colour of the metal and extends its durability over time. Gloss and matte painting allow the aesthetics of the final surface to be defined with precision. We produce painting on iron, stainless steel, brass and aluminium with covering, transparent or materic effect finishes, according to the project specifications. Metal carpentry painting requires careful surface preparation and the use of products compatible with the EN 1090 certification that characterises our production. Among the most requested processes are rust effect painting, metallic painting and anti-corrosion treatment for elements destined for high-end contract and residential environments. Every type of metal painting we offer is developed on sample, to validate colour, texture and final result before production.
Laser cutting and bending. Geometric precision on every shape
Laser cutting allows metal to be worked with a precision that manual processing cannot guarantee: complex shapes, architectural details and decorative patterns are produced with tight tolerances and repeatability on every piece. Applied to iron, stainless steel, aluminium and copper, on sheets of different thicknesses, for structural and decorative elements destined for wall cladding, panels, doors and furnishing accessories. For metal components requiring more complex processing, we also intervene with milling and turning. Bending completes the process by guaranteeing precise geometries and sharp angles, repeatable on long series without compromising the quality of the individual piece. Laser cutting and bending are often the starting point for pieces that subsequently receive the high-quality finishes, burnishing, polishing or painting, that characterise the Metalbril aesthetic.
TIG and MIG welding. The joint that cannot be seen
Metal welding is the process that holds everything else together. At Metalbril we carry out brazing on steel, iron, brass and aluminium with TIG and MIG welding, with a level of bead cleanliness that makes the difference on every visible element. TIG welding, slower and more precise, is the choice for joints that must be invisible or near-invisible: staircases, load-bearing structures and architectural elements where the aesthetics of the metal cannot be compromised. MIG welding lends itself to faster production and structural elements where mechanical resistance is the priority. Both processes are carried out in compliance with EN 1090 certification, which guarantees the quality and safety of every steel and aluminium component we produce.
Galvanic treatments. Gold, copper, nickel and brass on every surface
Galvanic treatments allow a thin layer of precious metal to be deposited on different base surfaces, obtaining finishes of great aesthetic quality and durability. At Metalbril we carry out galvanic treatments with brass, copper, nickel and gold, for projects requiring a level of refinement that goes beyond conventional finishes. These are highly requested processes in luxury interior design for decorative elements, furnishing accessories, handles and architectural details where the value of the surface material must be perceptible to the touch as well as to the eye. The metallic coating obtained through galvanic treatment guarantees uniformity, adhesion and a high-level aesthetic result, developed on sample and validated before production.
A certified process, a guaranteed result
All metal finishing processes we carry out comply with European quality standards. EN 1090 certification for steel and aluminium structures and AID certification for internal staircases are the concrete guarantee that every element produced meets the safety and performance requirements demanded by the luxury market. Every process is documented, every finish developed on sample, every piece followed from design to on-site installation.
