At Metalbril metal surface treatments are the result of an artisanal process organised industrially, carried out in-house on brass, iron, stainless steel, aluminium and copper with oxidization, burnishing, painting, polishing and materic treatment techniques. Every surface treatment is developed on sample and validated before production, to guarantee a precise, repeatable result consistent with the design brief.
The same metal structure, treated with different surface treatments, communicates in a completely different way. Metal treatment is not only about surface protection: it defines the tone, the texture, the response to light and the relationship between the metal and the surrounding environment. For this reason, every treatment we propose is born from a dialogue with the project, not from a standardised catalogue.
